Hey..

Wondering if anyone has a trusted and true method for straightening slightly bent coins...I have a silver Canadian 5 cent that has a slight bend across the center. The bend starts at the 5 under the crown and goes down to about 4 o'clock...I may have kissed it a bit with the shovel...

Thanks

wrap it in a cloth and put it in a vise. Proceed very gradually.

I found a 1900 Victoria dime while roll hunting, it was slightly bent. I put it between two pieces of wood in a vice to straighten. My coin was not valuable to begin with, but no harm or damage done.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

< Andrew > ,The vise and cloth is ok but he has to make sure the jaws are smooth or he might get an indentation from the ridges .
