I have to admit I once bought something from HSN. I used to collect baseball and football cards and one late night back around 2000, I had the channel on. They pitched a box of stars/rookies with a guaranteed book value of $400. They then proceeded to pull out "random" boxes and showed some of the cards in there. So I ordered one and was quite disappointed. It was hard to get an RMA number to send it back and when I did, they totally dragged their feet issuing the refund. I came to find out that they had something like 10 days from receiving the returned product to issue the credit card refund. Add that to the delay your credit card has built in and it took almost two weeks to get my money back. So I learned my lesson. I have to admit, though, they do a pretty good sales job on those shows so it's easy to see where someone would be convinced that they cant live without the product.

Yes and no.
I saw the ad. I think they charge outrageous shipping charges for each one which will bring your total to more like $25 or more per coin.
As a pure silver melt value it's not so good being that Morgan's are only 90% silver.
I suspect they are not going to send you any Key Dates or even anything other than marginal BU.

I thought they had ridiculous prices on everything; then I called to comment on some of the overpriced coins. I had to give the item number before I coulc comment and as soon as I did I heard, "I am sorry sir that item is sold out." We're talking 4 Morgan dollars (P,O,S,CC) for $895.00 and a roll of silver quarters for 175.00 and this was when silver was still around 15.00

Beauty and value are in the eye of the beholder, I wouldn't hang a Piccasso painting in my house if you GAVE it to me but they are worth a fortune to art collectors.
This is so true. In the downtown area of Chicago there is a horrible, ugly, monstrous thing by Piccasso. Many, many people used to laugh at it. Many others took photos of it and said how beautiful. I think way to many of you all are looking at such things through the eyes of a coin collector. Remember there are approximately 300,000,000 in the USA now. Through the magic of the internet, possibly billions can view such sales. We, the coin collector, are a minority. All such junk will sell eventually. You all just have to start going to flea markets more. I met a person that sells at a flea market. He told me he goes through the alleys and just picks STUFF up slated for the garbage. He said he sells out almost every weekend. Ones man's garbage is another man's treasure.

If you have ever watched this show could someone please tell me what the deal is with the large clueless guy that parrots eeveery single thing the the other guy says but in a calm and soothing voice? Is this to make the sting of getting shafted less painful or remorseful?

Yep, and if it were signed "Piccasso", I wouldn't want it either! Sorry...but I know you have a good sense of humor, lol. Modern art is truly a matter of personal taste. Impressionism was highly controversial at first too, but now "thanks" to Thomas Kinkade, "fine art" will someday be easily obtainable at garage sales and flea markets.

bmanofnbc- Well, I'm not a big fan of TK, but yeah...each to his own artistic sentiments! I'm more of a critic of their sales/marketing tactics. I had a print vendor who did their "paintings", so I know their overhead vs. retail price. Sorry, but I'm rather persuaded it's an outright scam.

No, maybe not, but I bet you a shiny nickel that if you saw one for sale for $100 you would buy it. (pretend that you know it is original, and that it isn't stolen.) EDIT: WAIT A MINUTE! ARE WE REALLY COMPARING THE PAINTED ELVIS QUARTER COLLECTION TO PICASSO? (isn't that kinda like comparing a Flowing Hair Large Cent to a LMC?)

If the price on the 1932 quarter and the high shipping is not enough, look at the feedback from buyers. They loved it. Just wait until take it to a local coin shop to sell

Oh my...
The part is - the prices wouldn't be that high if they couldn't get that price. People are investing in their futures with common coinage. They could always pray for the "Amero" currency to come to life and make their heavily overpriced common crap worth some cash. lol
