Do I Have Reproduction German Pfennig Coins?

Allisgroovey New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 09/03/2016 11:04 am Hi. Thanks for the help. My first post. I bought these coins at a garage sale for a couple of dollars each. At home I have tried to look them up but can't find a duplicate design anywhere. Is it a reproduction, play money? There is no A,D,E, F, G or J mint mark. Which is the first problem. The eagle claws are different. It weighs 3 grams which I think is correct, and there is a branch with leaves under the 2 not visible on pics I see in catalogues. What is this? I have a 2 Pfennig 1895 and 1897, and 1907 all of the same design. Report this Post to the Staff

bart Pillar of the Community Belgium 651 Posts	Posted 09/03/2016 11:10 am This is not a German 2 pfennig coin, but a 2 heller from Austria. Hence no A,D,E, F, G or J mint mark. Be assured, they are real and no fakes. Report this Post to the Staff
