Coin Roll hunting yielded a 1992 or maybe 1993 Lincoln Penny that is suffering from a jacked up die. Any thoughts? My meager attempt at a description is a super soft strike on the obverse made the date unreadable. Pretty serious crack on reverse at the northwest corner. Whats the prognosis? Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 09/19/2016 6:02 pm The reverse has a die crack and a die chip. On the obverse, the missing numeral in the date is most likely due to a grease-filled die. The portrait looks like it took a hit across the face to the ear --- but it might be something else.
