As I understand it they no longer use tokens. "Hopefully you will never need to use it." They now use plastic rechargeable debit type cards it supposedly helps keep the shakedowns from other inmates or as they call them residents. Of course this isn't first hand knowledge.

We kid, of course.  I am not surprised they use plastic, just like the arcades now. I have not been to one in years that still uses tokens.
