I realize most people on her are US-based, but would anyone know a good site to find out about this? I see one similar to this sold on ebay for a hefty price. I'm not sure if I should try to clean it before selling or if the different merchants from that event (apparently there were multiple vendors) bring different value? Thanks.

@link, first welcome to CCF. Second, tokencatalog.com is my first source for token info too. I see a bunch of similar tokens there, I don't see yours though.

This site is helpful. Thank you. Yes, I cannot see mine their either, but there are many other merchants there, so that's it for sure. Second question - I'm trying to decide whether to try to clean some of the older tokens (most aren't this old). Is there a safe way to do this or should I post under another topic? Thanks!

Well my personal opinion would be to leave it alone, but some of our hard core token folk might offer alternate recommendations.

R U keeping it or going to sell it? It really isn't that bad looking. I only remove heavy dirt, corrosion or fire damage. Some token collectors don't have a problem with cleaning them and some do but not as crazy as some coin people get about clean coins Which most dealers do to some extant and just pl,ead ignorance when asked if this was coin cleaned.

Re: Cleaning. Don't clean. Don't rub with anything. You will see dozens of posts that say the same thing.

It is safe to soak it in pure acetone, however.

I won't touch the tokens, then. Thanks for your help!
