Thanks Onecad. That was sort of my earlier point.....why is eligibility of the top 2 tiers not disclosed on RCMs website? Or the fact that Exclusive Coins may be "extremely low mintage". Other than a screenshot of an email posted on the forum, the top 2 tiers are like a Secret Society!

In the shoes of the Gold and low Platinum MC members, in my opinion, RCM not disclosing complete and accurate information is deceptive. And that leads to dissatisfied customers, the opposite of what the various benefits within the Master Club program is supposed to bring about.

I totally understand why those of you who are in higher levels like the program the way it is and I'm not criticizing anyone for feeling that way. My issue is with RCM disclosure.

There is a big gap between Platinum Plus and Prestige at $5000-$10,000. Besides really hard to reach $10,000 spending, you get almost the same benefit as Prestige if you just spend $1 past $5000 for Platinum Plus. There is no really point trying for $10,000 when you don't get much additional benefit.

They should have an additional tier between $5000 and $7500.

@MoneyPenney

I agree, I just passed the $5000 mark; providing there's no restrictions of 1 account per household, I'm considering creating an account for my wife for further purchases this year.

What do you think the buyers of gold kilo coins expects or can get if you were their rep.

If I was their Rep, I'd let go of my entire budget of discretionary incentives!

@john100

This is the point I am trying to make about dealers. Everyone is talking about just MC members getting access to these coins. Dealers are the RCM's biggest clients. Believe me when I say that these dealers get a few of these coins as well.

They have every right to a few:))))

Anyway, I am done for now with this thread. I am off to the casino.

There is supposedly 90% for MC members and 10 % for dealers.
Again, the best thing the RCM can do is give away free coins that are 100% exclusive to MC members. You spend $1000, you get a coin. The sell $20 for $20s, so it must cost substantially less to make. What's a few bucks per mc member? Especially when they spend $1000s. It's the fairest way to reward mc members. Make only the number coins as members. If someone decides to sell, so be it. It would make the coin soar in value since few would be available on the market.

I disagree, this was suppose to be a reward for MC not an added benefit for dealers who enjoy a nice up to 30% markup for selling RCM units. Also good luck at the casino!

I meant dealers/CP currently get 10%.
I think ONLY mc members should get the coin. If a mc member decides to sell theirs to a dealer, or other collector, etc., they can, same as any other coin.

Canada Post never sell any of the MC Exclusives.

There are no dealers selling this renewed SD. I enquired at CC&C and they say don't know if they will get any.

No dealer sold the renewed Voyageur either last year, though someone say they got one at CC&C.

the problem with this thinking, is there is a lot of dealers who are mc members, with reps.. the ones who can push for extra coins on limits..look at the guy who has 100 sets of the new toonie for sale..onlu someone with deep connections can do stuff like this..there is also people who have hundreds of the same 20 for 20 for sale..how does this happen..the old saying holds true.. it is not what you know, but who you know..

My rep emailed me yesterday confirming that he ordered this for me but it hasn't shown up on my order list when I look at the RCM website.

I emailed him before I received any notification about this other than what I saw on here as I am a platinum MC level.

Where I have read that others on here have had their order canceled, it does concern me that mine didn't show up at all.
