@onecad No problem! I think there are a number of "closet readers" that are in the same boat as we are. I think it's pretty clear that we (you and I) don't collect coins with the primary purpose of making money (but if this were to happen down the line, it would be ok ), and that our actual work / real life should be placed ahead of customer service hassles with the RCM. Our dissatisfaction is a bit different than a flipper who was denied the ability to purchase 5, or 10, or 50 silver dollars... we're simply looking to purchase one or two units for our personal enjoyment. If the RCM really wants to generate future success and sales, I think that we're likely a lucrative segment for them to focus on, and we should receive a guaranteed "basic" level of service - in the method we so choose (self-service or rep).

@blastoff
Your timeline made me laugh as it's nearly identical to mine.
So much anxiety hoping the mint takes our money and doesn't cancel our order.

I don't understand the issue with the rep. Mine sent me advance notice. Ordered and it immediately appeared on my profile. It is still there. I never ever call him. It is all done via email and I have never had a problem.
all this frustration will be over soon about this coin when the next "have to have it" coin comes out. Lol

@New Reps are different in their responsiveness Quote: all this frustration will be over soon about this coin when the next "have to have it" coin comes out. Lol This true, and on the next "have to have it" we trying to correct the mistakes. Whoever missed the 2015 Voyageur, did he/she await this time for Rep notification? Probably not.

My rep confirmed my order today and said that it can sometimes take up to 48 hours to update on the website. Time will tell, although it has been 48 hours at this point.

So much for the strict limit of one per customer. How did this guy get 7 of them. According to ebay he sold 7 of them. This seller, mario95coin, is a familiar person when it comes to "hot" coins. He always seem to get multiple coins when other people have trouble getting one. By the way, he has 4 neutrals and 4 negatives which is pretty high for a seller with 1000 ratings.

Quote: My rep confirmed my order today Great news canuck1us. I think Mario and Coin4fun/MTS are Mint employees, possibly the same person lol. That's total speculation on my part but they both have information and ebay listings long before anyone else and often use Mint stock photos. Mint employees are known to get first crack at buying and they get discounts on NCLT. Sure hope those discounts are treated as taxable benefits. cc. CRA

If the Mint actually sends him 7 coins then things really are messed up at the Mint.

If I remember correctly, RCM had no quantity limit on Renewed SD when released on RCM's website 2 days ago. Any Platinum Prestige member could buy any quantity up to 198 pcs at that time. RCM " hours " later, set limit 1 pc per customer.

@justsilver Orders over 1 were cancelled later in the day; it could be this guy thinks he has 7 on order and doesn't know yet the order was cancelled.

This seller has listed multiple items well beyond buyers limits for quite some time. I agree with CC's or silverwolf's speculation, high volume ebay flipper, definateky not the ordinary joe just out to sell off a few coins.

I purchased one from Mario at $219 free s/h and cancelled a second one. Seller is above board. Believe seller has other parties purchasing these and then seller sell on ebay.

This Mario guy has also bought from me and then selling it on his store on ebay. He is a normal guy just flipping coins to no end. I think that if your a master club member with platinum prestige status and ordered more than 1 coin as he did, they probably will not be cancelled. Mine are still in the processing stage and I also purchased 7 coins, but I'm not going to list them on my store until I receive them. Coin Haven
