I can see prices for the voyageur creep up towards the $1000 mark sooner rather than later. The increased mintage of the second renewed silver dollar has made the first one even more valuable since there can only be 2200 complete sets now. There is only four listings on ebay atm.

I'd probably be on that Voyageur, markings be damned. But I doubt I'd make it to VIP status anytime soon for the order (enough exhausted just getting to Platinum Plus), and I expect it to be picked up before that happens.
It certainly gets my hopes up though; I'll be keeping eyes on CC&C. Much obliged.

For all the ones who managed to get more than one of these silver dollars, I cannot understand how bragging about it helps anyone.
Sometimes it is better to keep your fingers off the keyboard and to keep this to yourselves.
Just my opinion. Then again who really cares about mine. lol. lol.

@jackalope I tried for the fun of it. Could not. I got the one I ordered through my rep only and it says processing. As@Ottawa-CC says: One person gets 7 which means 6 less for other MC's. Also, when I get special items from different coin dealers, I keep my mouth shut; otherwise, all good things would come to an end.

@electrum If you were platinum plus or prestige and you could not even get one, how would that make you feel? I don't care. I just want the one I will be getting from RCM. I don't sell coins. I guess people will call that "scoring" big by playing the system. Then good for those people who know how to do it.

Those who were able to order more than one through creative means probably should disclose that in the hopes RCM closes the loopholes in the future if it's to enforce 1 per customer

@New1954 You are so wrong. I am merely stating that the mint are so messed up. Is it the people's fault if they can order more than one coin or is it the RCM that they allowed it. For me I've been collecting for over 30 years and just this year I've opened an ebay store to sell my fortune. It's my business now that I have just retired after 38 years of working and now if there is an opportunity to make more cash for me so be it. Remember some people collect for the hobby and some people collect to sell to make money. That's the way it is and always will be. People that spend over 10 k at the mint get rewarded with first picks. Simple.

Having been on the Platinum Vanilla side of the fence, I was pretty irked last year to hear that people made out with multiple Voyageurs while I made out with squat.
Which is why I'm taking vengeance - the vengeance of a man, who when he found his rented VHS movie had not been rewound after viewing, took the furious measure of not rewinding the movie after his own use!
In all seriousness though, vengeance might not be mine. I called the Mint to ask about my hidden 'New Orders' and while they said they weren't cancelled at this time, it was still possible they could.

You are a collector and the choice you made is to buy one. I made a choice to buy 7 because I'm a collector/ seller. We both got we wanted.

New1954 If you would have gotten lucky and were able to get one or two extra, what would you have done with them? Redzapsid Quote: Again, equality can be bought by spending $5000+. Is'nt it how all businesses work? Money Talks. The more money you spend the better they hear you.
