RCM made a mess with this coin, trying to fix the issues that they had for the first year. I'm sorry guys, if your extra or the single order was cancelled. Btw, I hope, they will resume the "correct" orders, just they batch cancellation job didn't work properly. next time, please promise, that if your MC level is not enough to get some coin, you just call the general number and ask for sale. Believe me, even if you not eligible - you'll get the coin, and no one will cancel or hide the order - the calls recorded....

From the the Mint web-site; Quote: EACH MEMBERSHIP LEVEL—SILVER, GOLD OR PLATINUM—OFFERS A CAREFULLY DESIGNED PORTFOLIO OF FEATURES AND BENEFITS. Those benefits are suppose to give each tier an extra day to place orders. Problem is, up until now reps completely ignored it and as some have boasted here, have even taken orders from non-MC members before the highest tier have had a chance to order.

@onecad I spend way more than 10,000 per year with RCM. I got the advance notice on Sunday night. I asked for three of these coins and my rep wrote me back stating adamantly that I was allowed only one. No budging on this coin at all. @MoneyPenney Thank you for listing the dollar amounts required per MC Tier. I do know this; however, I was wondering if there was another secret level above this. Who buys those 69,000.00 coins?

I know, but in the past that wasn't the case; now they are enforcing the rules.

When I raised the concern here back in August I was told " it's their sandbox, they can do as they like", I didn't buy that then and glad to see things have changed.

@New1954 No quantity limit set on Renewed SD this morning on RCM's website for Platinum Prestige member. What if a Platinum Prestige ordered 100pcs? For sure got cancelled?

One would assume that since this is supposed to be exclusive to mc members, the RCM would go above and beyond to ensure smooth transactions for this coin, be it through a rep, phone or online. This is simply inexcusable and unacceptable. To think, we Canadians pay tax dollars to have nonsense like this going on. How much money do ALL these mistakes end up costing us?

Couldn't agree more, nice to see someone else feel they have a right to question how a crown corporation is run.

I appreciate the exclusive aspect...but no MC member should be denied...best customers should never have been tiered, as those who miss out in this instance as in others...will feel ripped off... And as for enforcing rules...given that some MC members put their orders in earlier today and then surprised to be advised that their order is cancelled but told of the consolation of being on the rep's waiting list...is just nonsense. When did they decide to enforce rules...at 4pm today? Just breeds unnecessary disappointment...and it happens almost every second month for many...

The Silver Dollar still shows up when I log in with "add to cart" but now it clearly states one per household. The silver dollar is still available.

RCM knows how many MC members they have. What's so difficult if the mintage slightly exceeded that amount, a one per acct limit applied, everyone who wants one gets one. Pitting MC members against other MC members and who gets and who doesn't is just a horrible way for a business to treat their best customers. The confusion RCM creates around something that's supposed to be a loyalty reward program is absolutely unbelievable.

Well said Wildflower...I don't think their approach will entice MC to spend more to move up levels... Collectors, not speculators...will buy good designs and appealing themes...more often than not... Your suggestion is so obviously logical...please the loyal customer...all of them...and they will continue to be loyal... Tick them off...repeatedly...and they will go elsewhere...despite loyalties...

CC&C rewards their clients more than RCM. VIP means something here. I am one. Unbelievable rewards!! I get one free Orca from RCM. I get way more than that from CC&C. Go figure.

@onecad These silver dollars are not just for MC RCM members. Their dealers are their best clients and they do get their share as well of these MC silver dollars.
