So I was given some old coins by my awesome Great Grandmother a few months back.. Here are the silver dollars.. There's a Liberty "V" Nickel and some Buffalos, too.
Forgive the homemade flips made from comic poly-bags, lol. I'll make scans if needed.

Ok.. they are ~
one 1923-S Peace Dollar,
three 1923-P Peace Dollars,
one 1921-S Morgan Dollar,
and one 1896-P Morgan Dollar.

Check the third (from top left) Peace dollar, tell us if it
is a 1928 with no mint mark.

If it is, post some good pictures of it.

Those are all 1928 Peace dollars, aren't they? The links to the large photos are good. You do have an awesome great grandmother! I hope you tell her so on a regular basis (not kidding).

HOLD ON I'LL LOOK MORE CLOSELY, SORRY.
Ok.. A close up scan of each of them is coming up.. They are all 1923s I'm pretty sure

First of all, every silver dollar is a good dollar!

I do believe that all four Peace dollars are from 1923, or is that third from the left from 1928? Check for a mint mark on that one, it should be below the O of one. If there's no mint mark and your coins are genuine, then you may have hit the jackpot, as 1928 Peace dollars with no mint mark are considered 'very rare', with a mintage well below 400.000. Otherwise, 1923 is about the most common year for Peace dollars.

Your 1921 Morgan dollar is about the most common one around, and also your 1896 is very common.

Sometimes it is very hard to see, more so from pictures.

I have seen customers bring 1923 Peace dollars into the LCS,
thinking they are 1928's.

If they all are 1928's, then post better pictures of each one.

I am thinking they are not all 1928's, but again .. hard to see
in group pictures like this.

THX! Ya it's very nice, agreed!
Sorry I've mixed the coins up so much in these images. Made it hard to keep track of which is which, lol.

Your Peace dollars have some nice toning. Your plastic flips are fine for short term storage, but the homemade flips could have PVC and damage your coins. You should buy some flips that do not have PVC like SAFLIP for long term storage.

I've got some proper flips coming in the mail, but don't worry, these are polypropylene, so I think it's fine.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the danger of Staples on flips..

In my early days of collecting (probably long before you were born) I had a stack of Bust Halves in 2x2 cardboard holders and never squeezed the Staples closed.. As I slid one over the other while showing the coins, one of the staples ripped through the cellophane of the underlying coin and left a nice bright silver scratch on the Bust of the gray toned Half..

I still have the coin & have used it as a "Teaching" tool back in my Dealer days showing new collectors that purchased 2x2's from me on how NOT to holder a coin..

You may want to research your Silver Dollars for VAM's on VamWorld.com

Peace dollars with mintage of less than one million are sleepers IMO. Same goes for many Morgans.
