It almost certainly is not. Yes, America did make silver Trade dollars. But they are amongst the most frequently copied coins in China and to a lesser extent Vietnam. This looks very typical of the type of " Trade dollar" you find for sale down at the street markets, on sale for $2 each.
It's also a common feature of certain Chinese-made counterfeits that, though they may look silvery in-hand, when you take their picture, they tend to come out yellowy.
