Not bad for a millennial or a codger like myself. Actually, I'm not exactly sure what defines a millennial, to be honest, other than someone a lot younger than me. I think my kids are millennials, they were born in the '70s and '80s.

Categorized as 80s and 90s kids. So at least one of them is a millenial.

Yes, love the BB notes. They're probably my favorite type in nationals.

From the last Bank that John Dillinger robbed; I like to think this note could have been taken in the robbery.

That's a great backstory - how did you happen to find this out?

I really like that South Bend Indiana Note! Very interesting angle about Dillinger. However, Dillinger wasn't the only one who robbed South Bend. Actually, there was no struggle this year from Brian Kelly, he gave it up right away! ( Not to be confused with "Machine gun" Kelly ).

I grew up 45 min south of South Bend. I once read a story (I think it was in the local paper) during his robbing spree, it was rumored he was spotted in Peru, Indiana and was headed north and my hometown was next and all the banks closed up shop and barricaded their doors.

The seller posted it as such, although he wasn't implying it was taken during any robbery. I looked up the information before buying it.

Thanks ALL for the comments.

Okay, so there are about 8 million notes known on this bank. And I'm pretty sure John Dillinger didn't try to rob it. But for the heck of it, I threw in a buzzer-beater bid on this and was pleased to knock it down for all of $211!

Seemed worth putting away, I thought.
