I found this coin in circulation. It's in pretty great condition given the age and I think it is the "small date" variety.

Here is a comparison to a known "large date" variety

Here are both side by side

Is the one I found in circulation truly a small date? I believe the SD variety is harder to find and it was a hole I needed to fill in my album. I was pretty confident so I went ahead and added it to my collection, what do you think? Thanks!

As noted, it is a small date specimen. That is a nice circulation find. Look closely at the MM; it may be an RPM as well. Good luck!
Rest in Peace

The Small date and large date Denver ones are about the same in numbers. Thus they are common. It is the Philly ones that are harder to find the small dates on.

Thanks everyone, while not rare it was still a hole filler so I'm happy! I have several other LMC varieties I need to find now, the Dansco has a lot of holes to fill!
