Are you saying that established members (whatever that means and whoever they are) are wishing to avoid me and others? What type of "problems" am I causing? What will make me "established" in the future (that's what I want to know) or am I just something to throw by the side of the road?

Once you reach a certain level of posts (50? 100?) you can "email poster", if they have it turned on. It's just to prevent bots from signing up and spamming people. They could be more clear on the specifics, but I wouldn't take it personally.

dollarcoinman, it's nothing you've done. Just stick around for a little bit and you'll be good to email.

Correct. It is nothing personal. It is to protect our members. Once you have been here a while you will appreciate these things.

In the last couple of weeks I've been surprised to see both Philadelphia and Denver minted cents. I've opened Loomis rolls containing both newly minted coins in them. For the first time in many years I've been disappointed to see the quality of the Denver coins. Most seem to have a spotty black haze on them and not brilliant and crisp. Has anyone else noticed this?
I also went to the bank and picked up a box to search thru. When I got home and opened the box, they were all 2017 P's!

I got two D cents in change at the same spot and one is a nice copper color and the other is more like yellow. I got a bank roll of D Effigy quarters from the launch in Iowa and 10-20% of them have some odd splatter lines (under 5x) like Struck Through Grease, and spots. So yeah, they're not pumping out collector coins in the circulation runs.

Someone spent this at my wife's store last week. This counts, right?

free money , today I took the dog to get a haircut. then went to the drug store. 2017P penny on the ground. then I went to a book store, 2017P penny on the ground. Next I went to Lowes and there it was a 2017P penny on the pavement. All were obverse up and in good condition. As I drove home I scanned the road way and intersections for more.LOL

Finally found my first circulation 2017 P cents while in New Jersey. Still not seeing them here in SE Michigan.
