CrazyBo mentioned something about 1970 dimes on my 'new members' post - so I immediately thought I would post these 3 dimes from 1970... anything special about them?

@warlock, first welcome to CCF. Second, just to be clear, are you wondering if these are proofs (I don't belive that they are) or is there some specific detail on which you are focused?

They all 3 look like the 68 proof reverse to me?

CrazyBo said "Yea some have a premium, but dimes ain't my thing so not sure which ones, something about a proof die on a business strike reverse, 1970? Lots here to learn. Have fun!"

Would be interesting if these coins I have, are what they look like. Hard to tell - so I've kept these 3 1970s' dimes for as long as I can remember. I know they're unusual looking and are worth keeping. They were circulated, but the one dime in the middle of the photos looks just like a circulated proof. The luster and the razor edges. I could be wrong... opinions? ...

I don't know enough about the reverse proof issue on these coins so I'll just say to the forum!

Ok yeah, I'm in over my head with this question too. It seems to me that really good close-up of the flames would be needed to tease out which reverse is on the OP's coins.

Still pixelated though..tried to get it clear enough - not completely clear -

Here are the photos of all 3 of the flames...in order from 1 to 3 same as what was shown previously. I just noticed - they may be double dies. Anyways, I will try it again to get it more clear than this if it's not good enough - let me know :)
