Quote: Finally found my first circulation 2017 P cents while in New Jersey. Still not seeing them here in SE Michigan. The extra benefit of traveling.

Still haven't come across any 2017P cents yet, just the Denver variety. The premiums on ebay for them are a bit much to swallow.

Quote: The final tollbooth wasn't manned and needed every quarter I had. As I fished them out, I was heartbroken to have to put in an Ozark quarter!! Ouch! Good luck during the rest of the trip.

Hey guys! So, haven't really been checking up on 2017 change. I've got an Effigy Mounds quarter, a 2017-D dime, and a 2017-D penny. Today in my change I found this little penny. I was like jbuck on this earlier this year, and was like, "What is that doing on a penny? Is this a counterfeit?" Looked it up and saw that these were real pennies. I guess I'll have to get me an uncirculated set along with the silver proof set, for that little special penny! You guys think that maybe in a couple of years there might be a few little cheeky Chinese counterfeits?

I had got a couple 2017-D cents and a 2017-D dime in the spring (maybe April). Living in Kansas next door to the Denver mint, it's no surprise to find D mint marks. There was early speculation that the 2017-P cents might get hoarded causing the ones in circulation to dry up. I heard of shysters on ebay selling them for a premium. I figured eventually I'd find one. I went to Ohio last weekend and found two 2017-P cents in pocket change. One is scratched and you can tell it's been in circulation, which is a shame, but the other is a keeper, looks like it was just minted. So, they're out there. Just got to keep an eye out. I know pics have been posted, but that P mint mark looks cool on that coin, so I'll post another. ;) Photo is the beatup one, the nice one I already put to bed in my Danco album.

I live in Ohio South/Mid West picked up 4 rolls of cents and one was all 2017-P's went into a plastic tube. Only found 3 D's so far. Noticed going through change have 2017 P nickels, dimes and some Effigy quarters finally.
