Obverse 2. The Obverse 1 has a more rounded chin. And for 1884, there's only one known obv 1 die. That one has a really big lower serif on the N. You'll be able to recognize it immediately
For me, the easiest key for an Obv 1 is where the neck truncation meets the bead at the bottom, as well as the chin/throat. Dirt gets into the crevices of the N's (especially the one in Regina) so it's hard to tell where the serif split is sometimes. Also, many times the reflected light makes the N serif hard to discern. You can never go wrong with the neck truncation.
