I can see why people don't think it's the same coin. The mint mark is definitely off. But lookin has explained that it's a different lens. And the dings on the leaves and stems of the wreath match up. That die crack or scratch between the leaf and stem is there in the first picture too, but blurry, lending credence to the camera explanation.

100% genuine 1932-D Washington. Grade is approximately AU53. Very, very nice coin & a great find.

I posted before that the leaves on the west branch looked wrong -- so I took another look today and -- honestly -- I don't know what I was seeing before. I must have been focused on a shadow or something. Sorry about that. It looks fine to me now.

However, I think I need to learn to take a break from the screen.
