dcam means Deep Cameo .The contrast between the fields and devices on some proof coins . Ultra Deep Cameo ,most sort after. On certain proof silver coins the contrast is so vivid that we sometimes call them black and white .

It means Deep Cameo. This refers to the contrast difference between the polished fields and the frosted raised devices. This is a common designation for modern proof coins. I think it would be very unusual to find a post 1968 proof that would not be designated DCAM.
