That is the unknown, will they put these coins into another offering. The Mint, being the Mint will wait until there is a 10 minute sell out of these 75 K to tell us that there is another offering out there with this same coin. They might wait until the big boys get their coins graded and dumped on the secondary market first though. Still glad there is a "S" proof this year. I will get one somehow.

wow here we go again a sneak attack from the mint trying to sell this product that otherwise never sells, I definitely need to add this to my collection and I see only 75K wow this would make it the second lowest mintage ever behind the 95, if the 75 K holds up and I have to assume it would wow didn't think I had to rush for any products this year well here we go again! april 4th here we come lol

The US Mint, the worlds largest coin dealer. They sometimes helped my business but not as much now. I wonder if the mintage figure will hold as some of you all have wondered. Nice profit margin for the Mint anyway.

Well it didn't take long to find out they will also be offering this coin in the LESPS as well, so there goes the the 75K low mintage.

If the LESPS only has 50 K limit, still a winner.

I kinda wondered if they would stick that in the LESPS when I first started reading about this. I just have a hard time spending the money on that thing.

Guess I'm going to have to order an update to my CAPS album. I'll just store one in OGP until we find out if this is going to be an annual issue. Thanks for the post.

I wonder if both ASEs will be in the LESPS? That might bump the set to roughly $195

Quote: Guess I'm going to have to order an update to my CAPS album. I was thinking the same thing. Though I'm really surprised we didn't have to do that for last year. Still very surprised they only had the 3 types for the 30th anniversary.

I agree it sill feels like a winner plus not having to spend 140.00 for the one coin and usually the LESPS is about 50K so I'm still going to purchase one, hopefully this way it will be a lot easier on april 4th right? lol

"Mintage limit..none" Most definitely will be released in another format either alone or in an ASE set including but not limited to LESPS No way this will be a 75k limit coin ..and of course the product schedule only goes through April ..and: Quote: Seems like just a marketing gimmick to me. Its basically the same as the W proof that comes out every year, but the mintmark is different.
I don't get why someone would buy this Really? Most mint marked coins ARE the same as all similar finish coins that year...except for the mint mark...and mintage. Check out the price history of S mint ASE's vs. the W mint ones..PF or MS

Update: The S ASE will also be part of the Limited Edition Proof Set Quote: The Product Limit is 75,000. Later this year, the American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin with the "S" mint mark from the San Francisco Mint will be available as part of the 2017 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. We'll see if it is also added to another set

So as of right now that puts it at a mintage limit of 125,000 which is still pretty low for a silver proof ASE. In fact, only the 1995-W Proof, 2008-W Unc reverse of '07, 2011-S Unc and 2011-P Reverse Proof have lower mintages. If they don't bring this out in another set or alone, it's going to be a very big deal. As of right now, they need to put a household limit on the sets. I can already envision the coin guy on HSN doing yet another comparison to the 1995-W Proof ASE.

I got a swift reply to my email asking about the mintage. This was the reply: Quote: The American Eagle 2017 One Ounce Silver Proof Coin does not have a mintage limit. The product limit is for the amount of 2017 Congratulation Sets that will be sold.
