SO here's my take on the Mint logic...totally not connected with reality. The 2016 Congrats set has only sold a tad under 2400 since it came out in November...sooooo they decide that the 2017 will be the same low interest item TOTALLY disregarding that they are putting a non-routine ASE in this years set (vs. the routine W proof of past years) and assume they will be on sale forever...major DUH! Do they not have a clue what low mintage vs unlimited means? Guess they didn't learn from the 12.5k medals....

I really don't expect a gold rush but I do have my alarm set for 11AM Central.

I hope you're right but I have a feeling luck will come into play in tomorrow's purchases

The household limit has not been changed, so it looks like this one's a go at no limit. I'm not one to get caught up in hype, but my gut tells me that the ultimate mintage will be 125k based on the two product limits. Plus at $140, the Limited Edition set is so expensive for what you get. Obviously I could be wrong, but I think this one's a winner. We'll see... I wonder how the coin guy on HSN is going to play this. I can already hear him talking about the 2nd lowest proof ASE mintage (even though it would actually be the 4th lowest once the Limited Edition set comes out) and comparing it to the 1995-W proof.
