We need to know more on its condition. It looks like a very nice bill, but it's hard to tell. Is it floppy? (If you hold it sideways, does it flop over?)
Is it crisp? (Hold it sideways and it hardly dips)

I'm certainly no expert on paper money, but this is my opinion.

Seems to be a strong VF bill with 4 folds, FR-750 (New York, Sailer/Strong sigs). Common, but still a battleship, so guessing maybe $600+ retail.

to the CCF!

Coinfrog has got it correct, my opinion is VF-20, if there are no rips into the design..very nice ,collectable note, worthy of protection in a graded holder..if it straight grades, likely $600 at least....nice

Welcome to CCF olddog

One of a few notes still on my "bucket " list. It's remarkable that every denomination in this series, the money shot is the vignette on the back of the note. A very, very popular iconic large size deuce.

Looks evenly circulated, but my guess by looking at the hard fold form the back tells me it spent a lot of its life folded up in someone's wallet. It typically lives in the neighborhood of $550-750 . I'm looking for an XF example with original paper, and a flawless back with great eye appeal.

This note has legs. The $2's have always fetched more than the $5's. Probably the best "money shot" reverse (as you say) in the history of US currency.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to this. This is from a late family member's coin/currency collection that I am trying to determine value.
I also have a 1918 $1 that I will do a new post on.
