Material: copper or Bronze outside Approx. Joseph7420 Bedrock of the Community Canada 11922 Posts	Posted 04/30/2017 9:21 pm I have no experience with coins from Hejaz, but that is where your coin is from. The closest denomination matching the centre of the first picture is a 1/4 qirsh, which should be 16 millimetres (so close to 0.655 inches/16.64 millimetres). The date is 1334, and I think the regnal year is located below that, which looks to be a 5. Numista says 1334/5 is 1916 in the Gregorian calendar, but looking at some of their other listed Hejaz coins, I am pretty sure that is wrong. 1916 is probably 1334/1, meaning 1334/5 is 1920.
