The first is maybe a die crack? It's across his forehead.
The second is a struck through error with a die filling I think. It's the letter N possibly. What y'all think? It's in the clearing under Effigy Mounds.

the mark on the forehead looks like a bag mark or scratch if it is incuse

Can you take a photo of Washington's head at an angle.. Does it appear that there is an indent in his head like an empty lake? Or is it just the line across? It may be the lighting but from your photo it looks like there is metal material missing from the design like a strike through...?
