So I've done a lot of digging and think I've just about nailed it. Only thing I believe I'm missing is that beautiful gold, that will have to wait . Last time I posted, there was a discussion if there was a difference between the P & D roll and bag issues vs the P & D mint set issues. I talked with a lot of people about this and there were a lot of different opinions. The most I could find was a graded coin from a 2016 mint set where NGC specifically labeled it as "US Mint uncirculated set". With that said, I have not found a 2014 label with that specification on it, but it makes me think there is a difference. Whether or not I'm gonna try and find that different set that is graded, I'm not sure. I think it would have to be labeled as the 2016 coin I saw was. But we shall see. Any way, let me know what yall think

Sww - that set is surely a beautiful thing to see. I personally do not like the TPGs and whole concept of slabbing, but I also think something your set is beautiful in the slabs.

shotgung - looks like a good one with no trace of the FG. Many slabbed ones even have a ghosted FG - look at the ones that sell on ebay.

@Earle42

Thank you. My local coin shop guy says he gets more of a thrill finding old coins in great shape and giving them a personal grade. The thrill of finding a naked coin in great shape vs finding a slab coin in great shape....makes the hunt that much more fun. I truly can appreciate that......I'm just not there yet. I can say this....to this day I carry an 1886 Morgan in my pocket from my great grandfather that was given to him by his daddy cause it was the year he was born, and I have a 1986 silver eagle given to me by my grandfather cause it was the year I was born. These coins I value the most
