I am new to coin collecting. I have 2 pennies in a plastic case. They look new. I don't know if I should break them out of the case or not. I want to get them graded. It is not a slab.

to the forum!

If you can post pix of your coins. Unless these are high grade, MS66 or above, it would be a waste of time and money to slab a contemporary cent like that...have rolls of them myself.

Go to PCGS Photo Grade On-line . This will give you an idea of what you have and if they warrant being sent in for grading .
BTW , To CCF .

to CCF fellow Michigander. I agree,post pics and if we think they might grade 66 or higher we will tell you. You can look here to grade them https://www.PCGS.com/Photograde/#/Lincoln/Grades

I think they almost look perfect. Having a hard time uploading pictures.
