Notice it's only on the high points of the lips & the high point of the chin and appears to be incuse. At first it reminded me of the Morgan dollar hot lips doubled die but the more I looked the more it looked like it took a well place hit scraping the high points. I think if it was a hit, it was the die bouncing. I'm not sure if it's enlarged or not. Hopefully, Kennedy's chin isn't that big. lol Report this Post to the Staff

You can see the area in question is resemblant of the device. I do not think it is hub doubled though... but some sort of other doubling that happened in the striking process.
