@onecad Why did you cancel the Puzzle coin? It does not ship until October 3, 2017. Would you kindly elaborate as to the reasons. Gratefully appreciated.

I'm also considering cancelling mine. That it's a Bromberg commissioned coin makes it less attractive to me for some reason.
He also said he worked on the design of the jewelled butterfly coin on TSC last night.

That jewelled butterfly!
Sheesh how many butterfly coins can they possibly make?
I did miss out on that penny collection that was the first item showcased. I went on TSC to order and already sold out:((((

That penny collection was really nice. I don't collect old coins but that sure was a nice one to get started on. Like you said, it sold out lightning fast.

While others have cancelled or thinking of cancelling the puzzle coins, I am considering ordering it if it comes back in stock.
It looks great on TV; much better than the pictures. It is very unique and commemorates Canada 150. It will look great displayed in your house.
Even though it is commissioned, it has low mintage of 800 which should hold its value. Doubt we will see it 50% off anytime soon.

The most important question is: did RCM make an sincere effort in producing this coin? Yes, the puzzle format is new. However, the 13 province coins are generic. These 13 coins simply use the same template.

@yesorNo
I don't understand "generic". This is not a map coin. I am not cancelling my order. Yes it may depreciate or maybe No. Who knows which coins will go up or down. This is still a very good looking coin as well as the Peace tower Clock Coin. I said YES to both:))))))
This is Canada 150....No?

Most of us don't make a $2000 purchase because the product is "good looking." The $2,000 price tag has to justify the value. Did RCM make a genuine effort to produce this coin that's worth the $2,000 valuation? Different people may have different answers. @New1954 I agree the Peace Tower Clock coin is very nice. Just ordered a second one.

When you are asking if the RCM did a genuine effort, sure it's their coin but like all good collectibles if you over produce an item like sports card, you will never recover, there is just not enough new collectors, so far the RCM is correct by producing a coin a day, but because there is no aftermarket for about 99% of recent coins, the bubble has to burst.

Colonial Acres has the Clock Coin - 13 in stock as of now. Canada Post has the Clock Coin and the Whispering Leaves coin. The Coin Shoppe also has the Whispering Leaves coin.

Despite decreasing mintages, coins are still not sold out everywhere. Whispering Leaves - 3500 - still available. GITD Canada - 5000 - available, Clock - 1200 still available, Jewelled Butterfly - 4000. And on and on.

If you're really itching to buy any of these NCLT, then buy it. If you like it, but don't love it... just wait a year and see these unsold coins get reduced in price. There is so much stuff being issued each month, that there isn't enough demand to get these coins completely sold out.
