The first classic coin I found as a new detectorist was a 1909 Barber dime. That is what got me into coins in the first place. Tied in second place are Mercury dimes and Walking Liberty halves. I actually like Barber quarters and halves as well, but the dime was my first find and therefore I have that special liking for it. Report this Post to the Staff
