Quote: I just wonder about the next EU legal tender coin. I will take a wild guess and say that one of the 2018 commemorative silver dollars (WWI or BCA) will be sold in three flavours (proof, uncirculated, and enhanced uncirculated). Let us not forget we have that reverse proof set coming out next year, too.

Is the market saturated at this point? I'd think most that want this have had a chance to get it and the future value is going to be from new collectors down the road or those that passed on it. It's kind of crazy of a roller coaster.. I've even seen ebay listings for single coins pointing out "go to mint's website if you want entire set for $35" Next question- is the mint releasing these in stages as for why it keeps being restocked or did they really mess up on no HH limits and are going to be taking a beating on paying for returned shipping costs? Shipping was more than 15% of set price, so that's got to eat at profits if they cover return shipping costs?

Quote: Shipping was more than 15% of set price That's what YOU pay to purchase ONE set... The sets that are being returned are huge bulk orders... Over 7000 sets available now after zero available at 0700 today

The craziness continues thanks to the evil known as "no HH limits."

Quote:There are reports of quite a few DDO"s on the dollar...still being evaluated Ooh, keep us posted! I didn't see anything on mine from a quick look last night, but it was only a quick look and there was a lot of glare from the light on my loupe. So shiny, hard to get a good angle.

...and how many returns and cancelled sales?
It's like a revolving door....I can't say I've ever seen this before and, I agree, it's all because of the no HH limits

Quote: it's all because of the no HH limits I'd say that it's also because of having a no questions asked return policy which is necessary because of the mint's poor QC which is a consequence of the mint not holding people accountable. If they only allowed the return of defective items, those dealers would probably not have placed such large orders. As it is, they can speculate on significant upside without any downside (other than the return shipping cost).

I received that single Kennedy half today, and man oh man, does it look good out of the capsule. The seller stated that it would be sent in a flip, so I was surprised when it showed up as a cut capsule. It even included the COA. It is so pleasing on the eye, and it looks really good in the Dansco. The stark contrast between the look of EU and Proof is crazy. Another perk? They are easy and pleasant to photograph. Ahhhhh..... Now..... pics:

I haven't heard much about quality problems with these, so I am a little surprised with the 2 sets I ordered. These pictures are just one of them, but both sets have the same issue in the same location. Both sets have the same white stuff along the edge of the Ozarks quarter. It looks like something actually on the surface, not just a milk spot. It's a little disappointing since I am from Missouri and was looking forward to that one especially. So, I've ordered a 3rd set to see if I can get one without the white stuff. If it shows up and looks good, I am planning to just send the other 2 back. Has anyone else seen this on their sets and do you know what it is? And do you think I am making a mistake sending these back or should I try to buy single quarters and replace the problem coins in my sets? I can't find singles on ebay except MS70 for $20+, which isn't worth it for me.
