Hi. I still don't trust my judgement on error coins. If anyone would like to give an opinion on these coins I have it would be appreciated. They are all 1954 one cents.
There are 2 pics of each coin.
In my very unexpert opinion I believe:
1 and 2 are some form of planchet error.
3 is an error of some sort.
4 is a die crack
5 is PMD but I'm unsure how the 9 has not been scarred in the process.
I'm looking forward to seeing if I am correct on any of them.
Thanks.

I'm not an expert at all.... so I'm just guessing and I know someone that really knows what they're talking about will chime in...

IMO:
1 + 2 are planchet errors
3 + 4 ... I also think it's at planchet issue
5 + 6 I don't know what's going on with this coin I'm actually thinking PMD but hope someone else can chime in and teach me something here
7 + 8 There's a good die crack going through the DEI . but I don't know what's going on in the queen's hair... possible another d/c?
9 + 10 This doesn't look like PMD but a struck through wire or another foreign object... as the "scratch" goes past the digits but doesn't affect the raised digits themselves leads me to believe this happened when the coin was struck.

Just a shot in the dark by a neophyte though

Number three with the crack across the queen's head is a lamination error, while the ones with extra metal near the leaf might be from a die chip of some sort.

Images 1 to 8 are various lamination errors. Images 9 & 10 are struck through wire.

with Scissel. A mixture of partly retained or retained lamination errors and strike-through error.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Big computer troubles now resolved.
Thanks for the help. Dorado referred me to the Coinsandcanada site. From that I'm assuming these all fall under planchet errors as there is no lamination listing. I take it these are relatively common as this group came from a lot of 250 coins.
Thanks again.
