Now I bet quite a few folks have learned something right here today!!!

Not only do you fellows date differently from us but drive on the "wrong" side of the road as well....[:p]

I work with many international people not just in coins but also with ham radio and wildlife biology. The use of only numbers for dates is so confusing that such a listing shouldn't be used at all. Use, say 12Dec05 or in whatever order one wants, but don't use numerals for months unless one wants missed deadlines, misunderstandings, and ill will.

I thought the Commonwealth was using this date format first.
Then again the entire rest of the world is on metric except the USA
Write a date and we will all figure it out

Hey, who told you that I drive on the wrong side of the road? Oh you mean that the U.S. roads are on the right.

If I could only remember to stop driving on the shoulder, the cops would at least leave me alone.....

And all this time I thought we were UP OVER? ND you will find it is easier to drive if you PUT down those slabs and watch the road! That will be the next law, after the banning of cell phones while driving, they will go after! No admiring coins and currency while behind the wheel!!! I can see the warning signs now when you enter Delaware a big coin with a big red slash through it!

Just bumping this thread before it scrolls over to "bye bye" land. We are looking for donations for this ambitious initiative.

I can donate a Peru 1885 UN SOL (silver dollar size) in XF to cover South America. Thinking about buying a gold piece from South America but until I make up my mind I will offer this coin. Can't post a picture of either coin but do believe they would serve the purpose. The gold, should I purchase and donate, is a very beautiful coin! Will keep you posted on my decision but until then the UN SOL is ready to go!

This is what happens when we have two threads on the same subject...[:p]

Have a read this thread would explain it all. In the meantime, just post here the coin you can offer up for donation. If selected, you will be given instructions on where to send it..
