Okay guys and gals your(our) days are numbered here! This is starting to look like a real political election as no body is running? If we are going to vote for coins, from each continent, I would like to actually have something to vote on? Doesn't have to be gold or silver but just something you feel is representitive to that particular area of the world! I only regreat not having one of the Out House Commemorative dollars me and Gary are lobbing Congress for! Would have been a beauty to add to this set!

Are we going to add coins as people become host of the collection?

Bigfella will update the list as soon as he returns from Vacation!!! Coins will NOT be added once the set is sealed for its trip from member to member!
I will also offer up a high grade Indian/Buffalo nickel (1936-1938) to represent the United States (North American). Will have to dig one out but know it will be no problem so add that to the voting list!
For the sake of the vote please add a Canada 1980 clad dollar to the North American list.

Don't send anything yet...where there is more than one donation from each designated area (Americas,Asia,Europe,Australia & Africa)then members will vote on which coin is to be selected for the perpetual giveaway. Selected coins are then sent to ND. |

The list was updated today. We still need more offers for the vote.
I noticed discussion on the date of the vote and also a poll. In the original post I stated I would organise this during the week of 9 January 2006. I am happy to go with what ever date members decide...is everyone happy with me organising the polls or does someone else wish to do it to ensure greater member involvement.

Bigfella we have no problem with you doing it! Still don't understand why you didn't take us with you on vacation! We could have TALKED coins the whole time! Or even better than that you could of let us mind the coin shop while you was away!!! That would have been a good one!
Okay folks we will put off the vote until the second weekend in Jan. so Bigfella will back and into the swing of things. All in favor say "AYE". Motion passes!

Bigfella, The package you sent me arrived today! I am now the proud owner of Greg McDonald's Austrailian Coins and Banknotes book, as well as a neat little gold dog coin. I was wondering if you came back early from vacation? Your website said you were returning on the 8th? Glad your back anyway. Before you send me the Croc Coin, do that make it in a larger size? Shane I agree with Mike I would like to pay for a 1/10 oz gold coin and have you send me the 1/2oz coin for the same price  Only kidding - but just wanting to let Mike know that we do read his posts too. Oh, so Mike is into the gold? We learn something everyday, don't we? The way things look right now we had all better being buying or gold and silver early this year as gold went over $531 this morning!!!
Bigfella and Rggoodie I have purchased two coins from the Congo dated 2002 strictly because they have Lions, tigers and bear, OH MY! Just kidding as OZ got the best of me! Well they do have Lions, elephant and a ram on them so please put a 2002 Congo 50 cent piece? Well I, quite honestly, don't even remember what denomination they were, but none the less, will offer the best looking of the two when they arrive as a donation to the Africa selection. Not very valuable but Lions pretty much says Africa and I do want everyone to VOTE for something from each continent!
