i know the 1983d Washington quarter its the real spitting the eagle . I found this 1981d Washington quarter that it looks like it and I just wanted to share it with you guys... ....

It looks like a residue mark and I see no indication of a minting issues!I have not seen a spitting Eagle in hand but my assumption is that it would be due to a die crack positioned by the Beak.

It may just be a stain if the surface is flat on this drooling eagle.
