Hey everyone,

I collect coins and was wondering what the upside of this star note would be of I kept it vs. trading it for coins.

Honest opinions would be a big help. In advance, thank you. My coin shop guy made sure I took the dollar by selling it to me for a buck. I haven't the slightest idea what its value is besides being a dollar. Haven't done a ton of research but couldn't really find a good value table.

Thanks,
Mike H.

Get something from Mickey Ds with it, unless you have a stack of sequentials in wrapped form is just for the tender public.

No upside from keeping it. I say spend.

Being a star note doesn't automatically add any value. It depends on how low the serial number is (or having a fancy serial), the run total and series date itself.

I'm not a note collector so, I'm sure others can provide more specific info about what is and what is not worth keeping.

Your star note had a run of 640,000. Total printed was 1,280,000

Definitely a spender. For future reference, check out this link.

As an important sidenote, everything I know about collectable paper money was learned right here on CCF.
