I ordered 2 of these coins and they arrived sealed in plastic squares. I have air-tite holders too but I'm not sure what to do now. I want protect these coins. Should I leave them in the plastic strip and use 2x2 flips for protection?

For the best protection I keep the few
gold coins I have in air tites.
Gold is the softest of the alloys used
for coins and can be easily marked in
a 2x2 if something were to hit it.

I stopped by the coin store today and I came up with this arrangement. You can see the plastic square inside the holder. The plastic square was preventing me from using the round air-tite holders I got previously.
I like it for now and it's my 50th post so I'm posting some gold to celebrate.

Lionel90 they look very nice like that. Quite flattering especially for that specific coin.

Sweet!

If you want a direct fit holder at some point, you'll find that there is no Air-tite that fits just right. Lighthouse/Leuchtturm makes a direct fit 25mm capsule that would be perfect for the 25mm 1/2oz Maple once you've cut the packaging away. They also make an unusual 32.5mm which is the only capsule I've found that will properly fit a 32.69mm Queen's Beast 1 oz (33mm allows the coin to move around too much, 32mm is too small).
