Chaotech Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 05/23/2008 10:31 pm I found a website that sells American Silver Eagle 1oz Bullion Uncirculated Rolls @ 21.21 per coin for a roll of 20 coins... First and foremost... where did they get rolls of ASE's? I cant buy them on USMint.com... Second, how can they sell them so much cheaper than the mint does!? I can understand if they buy like hundreds of thousands and get a good rate... maybe? Report this Post to the Staff

BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 05/23/2008 11:01 pm The Mint has a dealer network for bullion sales. I'd assume these "wholesalers" can buy by the roll if they want. These are UNC rolls and with silver at about $17/oz, a dealer could buy from the mint at say $18/each (estimate) and still make a decent profit. ebay has rolls of ASE for sale all the time. desertgem Pillar of the Community United States 860 Posts	Posted 05/24/2008 12:46 am Not sure how a "roll" is packaged today, but some I purchased in the late '80s and early 90's were in a square plastic tube with a green plastic cap imprinted with the treasury seal.
