Rainman Valued Member United States 294 Posts	Posted 05/25/2008 3:02 pm Best scan I could do.I bought this for my wife's birthday yesterday $14.00(her birthday year)As you can see the Pennie is upside down she asked if I could turn it? The coins wont move if you shake it and it seems like like I can open it with ease. Should I open it and turn it of course I would wear a glove. cladking Pillar of the Community United States 2273 Posts	Posted 05/25/2008 7:39 pm They weren't sealed by the mint but thaty is the way they shipped them. They are just Whitman snaplock cases with a blue insert and US Mint moulded right into the plastic. A few of these are tough to get back together for some reason but they will go back together. They were referred to by the mint as Special Mint Sets. They are essentially BU strikes from proof dies. Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps. Report this Post to the Staff
