Looking for opinions on this. Images do not seem to do justice to this coin especially on the band of the crown which in hand seems to be more complete than what I have uploaded. I have tried different lighting setups to no avail - perhaps the camera does not lie. The chunks of grit I am leaving as I am sure messing with them will mess the coin up even more.

Yep, I think higher than VG .. maybe F-12

..with mcshilling, a acetone soak could remove a bit of crud.

Looks like it would make F-12 or so.
