gw376 New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 02/25/2018 1:23 pm just found this searching through some loose change. At first sight I thought PMD however through the loupe it doesn't seem to be. I'm thinking die damage or something was on the die when it struck. Then again I could be totaly wrong (it has happened once) Also the revese shows what is either double die or MD? I don't have a microscope yet so I can only hold the loupe up to my camera phone right now. Hopefully i'll have one by next weekend! Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 02/25/2018 1:50 pm Reverse is Die Deterioration Doubling effect, the motion always goes to the outside, die flow, late die state. The obverse could be a die chip, but that is wrong for both size and shape. Notice the south "image", seems that is displaced metal from a contact, the metal has been piled up, just PMD. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/25/2018 2:20 pm The obverse is affected by the reed edge of another coin. (larger in size) The reverse is showing Die Deterioration. So a lot of imagination, PSD and die aging is affecting your coin. Report this Post to the Staff
