I know some consider these to be gimmicky offerings, but I can't help but love these special issues. I like the enhanced uncirculated versions best of all, followed by the reverse proofs. Although I don't collect silver eagles, I find the EU and RP versions to be beautiful works of art. I'll be getting 2 sets. CAN'T. WAIT. Report this Post to the Staff

The US Mint cannot do it because it would be illegal. Congress needs to authorize the metal change, even for NCLT.
