I doubt it's a copper 1943 cent. Probably a 1953 or 1933. But better pics of the date would help.

I can make out the 4, it is definitely a 194....? but nothing resembles a 3

It's from somewhere from the 1940's, but it's too far gone to see the last digit. It's now only good for Copper melt value. I would keep it for the Copper melt value.
