Early George V Nickel - Weak Strike Or Wear?

So I bought this Nickel. It's got lots of luster, a great halo and nearly perfect fields, but some of the high points are a little flat... that could be wear or I heard that weak strikes were common with the early Nickels.

So, what do you think?

Both weak strike and wear.
That looks like an AU graded coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Really need too see these sort of things in person but I would agree they're not far off on this one. I would have said AU53-55 myself based on the pictures. Just a mention on your description the fields look very far from nearly perfect.

Thanks, I paid $150 for it from a US dealer, so I think I'm pretty happy with it and this is one I'm def going to keep in my collection.

Re: fields - I agree there are small marks, but I meant free of anything major or distracting. Or at least I thought so, but I'm still learning... (also the spot between the D and V on the 2nd photo is on the holder).
