Wow, what a great score, John! I haven't done much CRHing, but I would like to get more into it and stories like this are motivating. I believe Parklane means that the title could be misinterpreted to mean a bad buy.

Indeed it is motivating when you find stuff like this... indeed a numismatic hunter's dream! This is why I do it and am so into it - the thrill of the find! Alright... pickling is in progress and *UPDATE* as I've got five date reveals to give. Nothing too exciting yet... 1925, 1917, 1929, 1919, and 1920-S...

Thanks, pan4au, cabowabo, mcshilling, and Lionel90! Definitely a fun find! And pan4au, funny reference - by the way, they prefer Walking Liberty halves for dates. *UPDATE* 7 more dates revealed today... nothing too special: 1914, 1916 (2), 1918, 1919 (2), 1920

Progress indeed! Well, as per usual, the 3rd and 4th day of pickling provided all kinds of results... and two of them are better dates a 1915-D and a 1917-S! The rest of the coins revealed yesterday and today: 1915, 1916 (3), 1917 (3), 1917-D, 1918 (5), 1918-D, 1919 (2), 1920 (2), 1923, 1924, 1925 (2), 1925-S, 1926, 1926-D, 1927, 1928, 1934 (first post-1929 Buffalo found pickling)... Five coins are hole fillers in my CRH Buffalo album: 1915-D, 1917-D, 1925-S, 1926-D, and, believe it or not, 1928.

I have found six dateless buffalos in the last few boxes and all are now soaking in white vinegar.
