This coin is in relative good condition except for near the eyes and across face. Again wondering if this is a known error or fluke. Thank you!

It looks like the first one has more luster and more bag marks. I'm not seeing any errors on the first one.

EDIT: I see what looks like some PMD on the left eye; the right eye looks like it is either PMD or a very minor error. Worth 5 cents.

Could be a Grease Filled Die or an over polished die.

The inner eyes are at or near field level so die polishing can have an effect on them.

That said the facial expression as a whole seems distorted and thinking Struck Through Grease may have played a roll. Thanks, Doug.

That's also an area where the mint polishes clashes a lot.
