Spence Moderator United States 34447 Posts	Posted 03/22/2018 10:08 pm @76e, you certainly could get a more highly-powered magnifier and take pics that are even more close-up than what you have posted; however, we should be able to see any doubling with what you have already posted. I'm with @crazyb0 on this one--I see some unusual surface staining and/or residue on the field around the number 3, but no doubling. Maybe draw an arrow on the existing pic and then re-post so we can look at the specific region of interest? Thx. (Toothpick test will show it if is or not) It maybe something on the coin like glue: It maybe something was spilled on the coin. If it is level with the surface it might be a stain.
