Lucky Cuss - I love those 'classic era' elongates! On a trip to Devon this past weekend, I visited the House of Marbles, a glassworks and museum based in an old pottery in the small town of Bovey Tracey. They have a four-die squashed penny machine, so I was able to add these to my collection:

I hadn't added any American elongates to my collection for ages... but I did manage to get quite a few on my recent trip to the USA! These are from a new dinosaur attraction at Quincy Market in Boston: These are from Salem, MA: Just for fun I used a cull IHC and a Wheat penny for a couple of the Salem ones:

I have a couple of these from our time living in The Netherlands. Scheveningen is a sub-district of The Hague and is just a short distance from the village we lived in. These were made using pre-Euro Dutch 5 cent coins, and judging from the very faint remnants of the original coin design remaining on the reverse side of the stamped image they were 1980 or older.

I was in Helsinki yesterday and walked to their Sea Life center to get a set of squashed pennies (actually 5 Euro cent coins). According to pennycollector.com this is the only such machine in Finland! It's a shame that, unlike hokiefan's Dutch SeaLife elongate, they don't have the name of the country or city on them!
