When we lived in The Netherlands, we got a couple elongated coins from the Sea Life aquarium in Scheveningen, a subdistrict of Den Haag on the coast of the North Sea. The host coin was a pre-euro 5 cent coin.

I have an elongated cent from A Century of Progress International Exposition, also known as the Chicago World's Fair. Formerly it was a 1906 Indian Head cent...
Nice examples!

My son made a few while we were in DC (I may have mentioned a few times he collects these). I need to see if he will let me photograph them and others he has acquired from various trips recently.

Yeah, I know on page one I said I need to get photos...

Lucky Cuss, I just realized that your post was from a year ago. Do you recall the theme of the elongated Morgan?

Sorry, but I don't.

Yesterday I went to the Heights of Abraham near Matlock in Derbyshire, which has England's only gondola-type cable-cars going up a mountain. There is a penny machine at the upper station, so I got a set of squashed pennies:

I rolled quite a few during my recent stay in Galveston. This one celebrates the island's pirate heritage. I rolled it on a 1966 cent - I cleaned the reverse before squashing it, but tried to keep the circulation cameo on the obverse!

My latest elongated machine discovery is this manual Pressed Penny machine located at Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop, 2124 Penn Avenue (Strip District), Pittsburgh, PA. The words GRANDPA JOE'S CANDY SHOP is on each design, but the words are very small on three of the four designs. Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop has opened other locations in PA, OH, FL, WV, & MN, but Pittsburgh is the flagship location and the only location with an elongated machine.

The four elongateds below were rolled on 1976 copper cents:

This one was rolled on a 1/10th ounce silver token (which is the same size as a cent):

I don't collect these, but I rolled a couple, using 95% copper cents. These were done last week (May 8th, 2024) at Souvenir City, Gulf Shores, Alabama ... the strike on both is rather weak, & the detail shows up better in these pics ... the machine was newer (probably 1990's), & the impressions wene not as strong as on older examples I've seen ... anyway, ... here Ya are ...

A public Facebook group called All Things West Virginia just posted some images of the sternwheeler/paddle wheel boat P.A. Denny, which took tourists on cruises of the Kanawha River between 1975 and 2004. Of course, I made the group aware of the elongateds featuring the boat.

Below are three different elongated coins featuring the P.A. Denny, including a foreign coin at the top honoring Captain "Heck" Heckert. The bottom two are rolled on cents (one with a lined border and one with a beaded border).
