Odd Aluminum Colored 1997 D Dime - Coin Community Forum

patlar2005 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 05/25/2018 03:10 am This caught my attention because of the color. Upon closer inspection, I noted that the detail was crisp for the most part, with only a bit of softness on the lower obverse lettering and date. The reverse is also quite sharp, and displays the same coloration. The edge is copper colored. There is a faint fine mottling effect overall, especially on FDR. No scratches or dings are present. My only guess is that it was spray painted, and done reasonably well. Does anyone know what else this might be? Report this Post to the Staff
